About Us
Templeton Elementary, located in the heart of Bloomington, just south of Indiana University and Bryan Park, serves approximately 500 students in preschool through sixth grade. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) School, learning at Templeton has a global-minded focus. At Templeton Elementary, we pride ourselves on meeting the unique needs of all our students and offer a variety of programming to meet every student’s needs, including brain-compatible, multi-age, and traditional, single-grade classrooms. Our approach to learning is inclusionary, meeting the needs of English language learners, students with special education services, and students receiving high ability services within the general education classroom. Students at Templeton have the opportunity to be lifelong learners and understand how we live in a global society.
