About Us

About Us

Group of students and parents on the Templeton playground.

Templeton is an International Baccalaureate school. The goal of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. In working toward this goal, the teachers have created a balanced Program of Inquiry with vertical and horizontal alignment across the grade levels. Curricular units are taught at every grade level (Kindergarten through 6th grade) throughout the year with inquiry driving the instruction. In keeping with the international mindedness of IB, students are introduced to explore Spanish throughout the year. Templeton strives to be a balanced, inquiry-based, and internationally grounded school. We also have an outstanding music program. This is demonstrated in our wonderful grade-level programs produced annually along with our school choir that performs at numerous events throughout our community.
